I love the holidays – the food, the lights, the music, the fun! There was really only one thing that I didn’t enjoy when the kids were little and that was Santa photos. Oh, it wasn’t necessarily the photo, mind you. It always seemed like someone was looking the wrong direction or not smiling, or….. well, you get the idea, but that’s just what happens and seems to make them even more adorable. The worst part was always the crazy long lines, just to finally get our 30 seconds of Santa time, in which the child would either cry with fear or develop shyness. The actual time with Santa went way too fast.
This year, I teamed up with a friend of mine and we decided to offer a Magical Santa Experience. A session with the children being able to interact with Santa for at least 30 minutes – plenty of time to get over stranger danger or shyness. The idea was to capture the real interactions and real smiles. We had so much fun with the kids the first weekend that we decided to offer it again a week later! Here are a few sneak peeks:
